Copyright Policy & DMCA Notice (2026 Update)
Last Updated: Oct 13, 2026
K-Method Training Group, Inc. (“K-Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of our users, clients, and partners. This Copyright Policy applies to all websites, learning platforms, and services K-Method owns or operates. That includes kmethod.com, the K-Method Academy, WorkCertified.com, and the white-labeled learning management platforms we host for client organizations (together, the “Services”).
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”). We respond to valid notices of alleged infringement, and in appropriate circumstances we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
1. Ownership of K-Method Content
Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Services is owned by or licensed to K-Method Training Group, Inc. and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes courses, curricula, training videos, workbooks, assessments, frameworks, text, graphics, audio, software, and the selection and arrangement of that content.
K-Method, K-Method Academy, The Sales Professional’s Blueprint, Professional Standards for Sales Excellence (PSSE), YESS, TESS, and related names and logos are trademarks of K-Method Training Group, Inc. or its licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
2. Limited License
Authorized users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use content for their own personal or internal training purposes, as permitted by their enrollment or their organization’s agreement with K-Method. Without our express written permission, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or publicly perform any content;
- Modify, translate, or create derivative works;
- Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit any content;
- Share login credentials or give unauthorized persons access to the Services;
- Record, screen-capture, download, or re-host course videos or materials, except where a download feature is expressly provided;
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice;
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access or extract content; or
- Use any content to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models or datasets.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
3. Content Uploaded by Users and Client Organizations
Some Services, including our white-labeled learning platforms, let users and client organizations upload or publish their own material. Each party that uploads content represents that it owns that content or has all necessary rights to it. K-Method does not review all user-submitted content before it is posted. We act as a service provider for that content under 17 U.S.C. § 512.
4. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you believe material on the Services infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent (Section 8). To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. If multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list is acceptable;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it, such as the specific URL(s);
- Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Notices that do not substantially comply with these requirements may not be acted on.
What happens next: When we receive a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user or client organization that posted it and give them a copy of the notice.
5. Counter-Notification
If your material was removed and you believe that was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number; and
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which K-Method may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice, or that person’s agent.
What happens next: When we receive a valid counter-notification, we will send a copy to the original complaining party. We will restore the material no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification, unless our Designated Agent first receives notice that the complaining party has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, K-Method will disable or terminate the accounts of users, and suspend or end services to client organizations, that are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access or terminate accounts at our discretion for any infringement of intellectual property rights, whether or not there is repeat infringement.
7. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or K-Method. Statements made under penalty of perjury that are knowingly false may also carry criminal consequences. Before submitting a notice, consider whether the use may be authorized or permitted by law, including fair use. If you are unsure, consult an attorney.
